''UMU rags'' started in Brampton, a known city located in the greater Toronto area in Ontario, Canada. The founder, Christian U., also known as Mr. UMU had a vision of making silky durags for his peers, to sharing the vision with everyone across the continent.

 

​Addiontally, UMU   rags tends to give back to their supporters by giving out free durags weekly to their followers on instagram by simply commenting on their page.
